A quick teaser from one of the tours I led for Snorkel Venture in June 2019 which started in Alor Indonesia and finished in Komodo National Park.

A DREAM OF MEXICO
This was quite literally a dream come true for me. One month diving and snorkeling through Mexico's best locations like La Paz, Cabo Pulmo, Cabo San Lucas, Guadalupe Island, the Cenotes, and the world's largest congregation of whale sharks off of Cancun. I was lucky enough to encounter bull sharks, dive with blue whales and killer whales, hundreds of whale sharks, mantas, great white sharks, sea lions, and massive fleets of mobula rays! This trip was technically 'work' as I was there on behalf of Dive Safari Asia and Snorkel Venture to put together a trip itinerary for Mexico. On top of this I was also asked to test out Nikon's new full frame mirrorless camera, the Z7 in the Nauticam housing for a field test/hands on review for Dive Photo Guide. I owe a huge thanks to everyone involved in this project, Dive Safari Asia and Snorkel Venture, Dive Photo Guide, Nauticam, Backscatter Underwater Video & Photo, Club Hotel Cantamar, Pelagic Safari, Socorro Vortex, Yucatan Dive Trek, and Maya Blue Dive Center. Very much looking forward to returning!
ALAMI ALOR PROMOTIONAL VIDEO
I had the privilege of being asked to film the promotional video for Alami Alor Resort in Alor Indonesia, one of my all time favorite places to dive. Not only that but Alami is hands down the most reputable and conferrable resort to stay and dive with not only in Alor, but in Indonesia.
BUNAKEN OASIS RESORT AND SPA PROMOTIONAL VIDEO
I had the pleasure of producing Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort & Spa's official promotional video in 2019. The resort is outrageously beautiful and just meters away from some of Bunaken's most famous dive sites.
The most comprehensive video of the Coral Triangle's underwater world all wrapped up in three minutes!
SIPADAN AND BEYOND WITH SEAVENTURES DIVE RIG
A quick Video of what it's like to dive off of one of the most unique dive resorts in the world, Sea Venture's Dive Rig, which is actually a decomissioned oil rig turned dive resort. It's located off of Mabul Island in Malaysian Borneo and from it you can access the incredible diving around Mabul, Kampala, as well as Sipadan Island.
I had the pleasure of producing, along with Dive Photo Guideand Dive Safari Asia, the new promotional video for Sea Life's two new video lights, the Sea Dragon 3000f and 2000f. With the wonderful assistance from Siladen Resort and Spa we were able to shoot the whole video in five days in Bunaken National Park in North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Tulamben is an incredible place to spend a few days diving. Though it may not look like much upon arriving, the area offers some incredibly diverse diving. The USAT Liberty wreck is a fantastic wide angle and macro site which offers everything from pigmy seahorses to large groups of bump head parrot fish. The black sand along that whole coast line is the perfect place for those that love muck diving as it offers the chance to see ghost pipefish, harlequin shrimp, and just about anything else you could imagine.

BRYDE'S WHALE LUNGE FEEDING IN RAJA AMPAT-CAPTURED BY DRONE
It's not uncommon to see whales in Raja Ampat, after all there are fifteen different species in the area. This Bryde's whale however, is doing something a little different what we normally see when they surface, take a breath and then dive back down. This is called lunge feeding where the whale, which feeds on plankton living just below the surface, builds up an impressive amount of speed and seemingly ambushes his microscopic prey with it's gaping mouth and scoops up tons (literally) of these nearly microscopic organisms.
I was able to capture this footage by drone in the Dampier straight of Raja Ampat over an adrenalin pumping fifteen minutes. Tracking the subject can be tricky as they build up so much speed and then stop so suddenly. To see the Omura's whale (the newest species of whale to be classified) and it's phenomenal feeding behavior click here.
OMURA'S WHALE LUNGE FEEDING IN RAJA AMPAT-CAPTURED BY DRONE
Very rare footage of an Omura's Whale (Balaenoptera omurai) feeding in Misool, Raja Ampat. These whales are often mistaken for Byrdes or Fin whales but the easiest way to identify is by the ridges on the top of the head. Omura's just have the one central ridge while the Bryde's have three.
For two days several of these rare whales were spotted just off of the boat around Misool and could be seen actively feeding throughout the day. We were able to get into the water with them and get some brief glances of them though there was so much plankton in the water they were just big grey and white shapes quickly moving past. At one point there was a large female with it's calf and it could be seen teaching it how to effectively scoop up their planktonic food. When I started filming them with the drone it offered a unique perspective into this fascinating behavior.sectetur adipiscing elit.
ARCHIPELAGO: BALI-KOMODO-BANDA SEA-RAJA AMPAT
For three years I've been filming and photographing in the Indonesian Archipelago. From Bali to Komodo through the Banda Sea and the fabled Spice Islands and into Raja Ampat. This is the very best of my aerial and underwater work in the region!
